Served in Capt. Joseph Scott's Company, Private,East Tennessee Militia in the defeat of the British at the Battle of New Orleans.
Enoch and his family joined his father, William Fox, his father-in-law, Jesse Nelson and other families, on a migration from Cocke Co., TN to Lafayette Co, MO, around 1818.
In 1854 Enoch Fox received 80 acres in Lafayette Co, MO, for his service in Capt. Scott's Company.
In 1862 Enoch Fox received 80 acres in Vernon County, MO., for his service in Capt. Scott's Company; which he assigned to his son Nelson Fox.
